At Minnesota Flyers Gymnastics & Fitness we offer fitness classes to area children no matter their physical abilities. We offer a variety of different classes and programs to provide physical fitness to all children! From recreational gymnastics classes, ninja courses, and birthday parties, all the way to USAG elite gymnastics programming.
Our recreational programming offers classes for children ages 18 months through elementary school. These classes include traditional gymnastics skill building through a progression of different class levels. We also offer ninja courses that capture a wider audience of young boys in our community. This course helps increase coordination, strength, and physical abilities as they experience floor conditioning and obstacles through the ninja rig. We also offer a bigger, faster, stronger course for helping kids gain muscle and increase their strength with our personal trainer Mark. Our elite gymnastics programming starts with our Mini Flyers team and comprises the Training Team, Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 competitive gymnasts.
We provide a space for homeschool families to come and use our facility for an open gym style of class, where kids can run, jump, play and achieve fitness. Our gym also hosts many field trips for local schools and daycares. Each week we have a two-hour open gym free time for children to come and experience our gymnastics facility, play, meet new friends, and build up a little sweat in the process. We also offer birthday parties at our facility comprised of open gym time, obstacle courses, cake, pizza, a birthday shirt, and more!
Lastly, MFGF proudly supports and provides fitness for our FlyTime athletes. FlyTime is a program designed for children with special needs who may need assistance to move, climb, roll, communicate or interact in a traditional setting. MFGF has worked in partnership with our local schools to adopt a gymnastics based fitness and exercise program using specific equipment giving these children with disabilities the opportunity to get a little sweaty, build muscle, and challenge themselves through climbing, jumping, running, crawling, bouncing and many other fun activities, in an environment that is best for them.
